This beautiful couple from the Tampa Bay area of Florida travels to Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan for a gorgeous, but rainy, Wedding day. Rain brings on so many possibilities with photography. It rains on and off all day long bringing in foreboding cloud formations, reflections on the pavement and puddles, flat light that is enhanced by my shooting techniques, and lots of smiles. Who wants sun when you come from sun, right? 🙂

Funny story, well it was afterwards at least, I am kicked by a horse in the back in front of Little Stone Church. It rips my sportcoat and knocks me to the ground. I am fine but very lucky. The horse was hissing at me. I have never seen this before! The groom says, “You will even take a hit from a horse for us!” 🙂
