Petoskey Michigan Surprise Engagement

A mid-week call from Brandon yields a surprise Engagement on the weekend. Brandon is bringing his girlfriend to the Petoskey area for one reason, in his mind, to be Engaged. On a day with lots of changing weather patterns, 3pm is game time.

Brandon is ready. Is Megan?

I set up by marking on the concrete a couple X marks for positioning. The drone is ready to fly. The Go Pro is in place. The wait begins…and it starts blowing and snowing!

Well, this isn’t ideal, but this is Northern Michigan in the late Fall.

The text comes in that they are leaving the hotel and will be onsite in 9 minutes.

Brandon pulls up, the drone heads up, they walk out on the pier, and Brandon finds the X marks.

A quick kiss and a little chat, then on his knee to propose. Megan had no idea!

A total success. Great job Brandon!

Following the surprise Engagement we head away from the wind and find a few warm locations including the Great Lakes Center for the Arts VIP room, Village of Bay Harbor, Downtown Petoskey, and Bear River Recreation Area to name a few.
