Just a quick few images from our time with family. Here they are:
We had Christmas with my family yesterday and it was a good time. The family went out to Burton’s last resort for dinner and then we came home and exchanged gifts. Our family picks names for the siblings so that we don’t have to buy for everyone. Makes it a bit less stressful and more economical. I received a fleece jacket and some nice glassware from my sister.
My sister surprised her fiance with a 360 degree mount of the Blue fin tuna that they caught in Hawaii last year. It is going to be on a 4 foot pedestal too. The wood is just for transporting the large fish. I think it is like 150 pounds. Pretty cool for a fish done in Michigan where we don’t see a lot of tuna.
My sister got my mother a kayak and paddle and mom was very excited about that. She loves to kayak but has never owned one.
We have a get together with Megan’s family today and Christmas with the Currell’s tomorrow.
The rains came down two days ago and all but wiped out the snow here. Kind of stinks but we still have some in the woods. I thought we would get the snow last night but really nothing.
Hope all is well. Happy Holidays!
