Congratulations Cathy and Ron!  You two are just perfect.  Other than the sweltering heat, the Wedding is AMAZING.  Walloon Lake Wedding Petoskey Northern Michigan Photography by Paul Retherford.

Walloon lake is a turquoise, blue all sports lake near Petoskey, Boyne City, and Bay Harbor, Northern Michigan.

Taylor Rental of Petoskey set up an elegant tent, tables, and chairs.

Everything looks so good from the start.

Monarch Garden and Floral Design worked their magic and brought everything together.  The florals are so fresh, vibrant, and aromatic.

Cathy is the most beautiful bride in her simple Wedding dress.  She owned it and we have a really nice time making images all day long.

What an easy client and family to work alongside.

Cathy and Ron make most of their images prior to the Wedding ceremony.  This works out perfectly with the heat so they can cool down prior to getting married.

The ceremony is put on by Cathy’s close friend. In addition, short and sweet is fine with all of the guests.  The ceremony is perfectly said in all senses of the word.

At one point, the heat index is 113 on Walloon Lake.  Yikes!

Everyone runs for the shade and drinks, and some even head into the water to cool down.  A little breeze is making it manageable.

As the evening progresses, Vernales Catering offers tasty appetizers and dinner.  The service by Vernales is flawless even in their black outfits.

There is a cookie for guests from Simply Sweet by Jessica and dessert pies by Grand Traverse Pie Company of Traverse City.

Great wines by Toulouse, Meyer Family Cellars, and Alexander Valley Vineyards.
