New Years Eve Winter Wedding

Oh my! Looking at the forecast for New Years in Charlevoix they are calling for 6 inches of new snow. Just perfect conditions for winter Wedding images. Winter Wedding Castle Farms Charlevoix New Years Eve with Claire and Seth.

The day begins at Castle Farms prior to the blizzard with aerial photography, interiors, and exteriors of the gorgeous property. The Wedding event is in the Kings Great Hall at Castle Farms. This makes it easy for guests to arrive and stay in one location during the blizzard.

Claire and Seth prepare as a family friends condo on the Charlevoix channel. Hair and makuep by Bliss salon looks amazing. What a wonderful location to begin this gorgeous life together.

Since the ceremony is not until 6pm, Claire and Seth decide to have a first look at Castle Farms with family images to follow. In addition, Claire has a first look with her father just prior to seeing Seth. Both looks are just perfect.

The snow is falling at this time and umbrellas are being used to keep the wet snow off of everyone prior to the ceremony. We duck in the Knights Castle for images with the family and wedding party. This makes a comfortable location to capture the group images. One thing I love about Castle Farms is the fact there are multiple locations for images. I love to use them all.

The gorgeous wintery mix florals are by Upsy-Daisy Floral. All the colors and decor look amazing but not overdone.

The ceremony is officiated by their good friend. Jen does a beautiful job.

Winter Wedding reception Castle Farms

Following the ceremony, a few family images and introductions to the reception by Tom Pluister of Pluister Entertainment.

As guests sit down for dinner, A Matter of Taste is making sure everyone is smiling from the delicious food and service.

Claire and Seth have a 9pm countdown for New Years for the people who want to leave early with kids. Hats, horns, tiaras, and more are offered to guests.
