What an extraordinary day. Lauren and Steve are getting married, the sky is blue, the winds are calm, and the temperature is perfect in Northern Michigan. Northern Michigan Love Story Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club Lauren Steve Wedding Photography by Paul Retherford.

The day begins with hair and makeup on Lake Michigan in a private residence with Beautiful You Salon.

Dawn is leading to the glowing sun on the tree tops. You can feel the anticipation of the wonderful day coming.

Can you believe this amazing dress!? Designed by Augusta Jones and transported from New York. The Mikimoto jewelry rounded out the gorgeous Bride.

Steve is preparing ten minutes away at a rental house overlooking Charlevoix and Round Lake.

Everyone looks amazing!

Following preparations, the family heads to St. Mary’s of the Assumption Catholic Church in Charlevoix, Michigan for the Wedding ceremony.

A family friend help the Priest with the ceremony. Lauren and Steve look very happy.

After the ceremony, family images conclude, then off with the Bride and Groom for location images around Charlevoix and on Lake Michigan.

Lauren and Steve decide not to have a Wedding party so the two of them can photograph all over with ease.

A small break follows for relaxing.

Then off to the reception at Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club.

Lake Charlevoix Wedding venue

Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club is located on Lake Charlevoix close to Boyne City.

The reception hall has a large deck overlooking the harbor and Lake Charlevoix.

What a gorgeous Wedding reception venue.

Monarch Garden and Floral design makes everything look pristine. Beginning the incredible floral bouquet and extending to the tables at the Wedding reception, oh my. William and his team have a very classy way of designing.

Food is amazing at Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club. The staff is really nice and accommodating too.

Kevin Thomas with 2 Bays DJ makes the dance floor happen.
