Mackinac Island Mission Point Resort Wedding

Mission Point Resort is a pet-friendly destination Wedding venue in Northern Michigan on Mackinac Island.

Christina and Austin love Mackinac Island for the laid-back attitude.

They booked an early Spring Wedding at Mission Point Resort to take advantage of the slower season and the mild weather.

Their day was absolutely stunning!

Mackinac island is 8.2 miles around the outside loop. Almost everything is within walking distance on Mackinac Island.

If you find that it is too far you can call a horse carriage taxi to get you around. There are no cars allowed on Mackinac Island.

They arrived on Mackinac Island on Thursday, got Married on Friday, and left to a friend’s Wedding in downstate Michigan on Saturday.

It was an action-packed few days for them.

The Wedding day went perfectly for Christina and Austin. They had the most beautiful weather. There were not many bugs. The grasses and flowers were beginning to bloom. There was even a slight scent of lilacs in locations.

It won’t be long and the lilacs will be in full bloom. I would guess another week or two and they will be perfect!
