Perry Hotel Wedding Photography Charlevoix Church

When you think about your Wedding day you probably imagine this perfect day where everything runs smoothly and the clouds part to beautiful blue skies, you look like a princess, and everyone laughs and parties all night long. This is how Saturday’s Wedding was with Shannon and Jared in Charlevoix and Petoskey, Michigan.

The Wedding ceremony location was First Congregational United Church of Christ in Charlevoix, Michigan and the Wedding reception took place at Stafford’s Perry Hotel in Petoskey, Michigan, about 17 miles away.

The day started early with the ladies arriving at La Dolce Vita Salon and Spa in Petoskey, Michigan for their hair and makeup. La Dolce Vita always does a perfect job while staying on time and keeping the atmosphere free of stress.

A few cool details during the day included the convertible Cadillac that was Shannon’s parents car for the getaway car, the penny and dime in the shoe handed down generations, the invitations that were designed to look like Shannon’s parents Wedding invitations, and the signs held by the Bridesmaids that said, “Just wait till you see her.”

The Wedding colors were soft shades of blush pink, mauve, peach, dusty green, and gray/silver. The Wedding theme was natural, organic, garden romance.

Shannon and Jared currently live in Chicago, Illinois and they are originally from the area.

Shannon looked beautiful. Everything from the dress to the flowers to the shoes to the jewelry came together and made her radiate. Shannon wore Stefan Jolie.
