Mackinac Island Little Stone Church Wedding

On the quaint island of Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan there is a small community church that is made of all stone.  This church is called Little Stone Church.  Little Stone Church has weekly gatherings for locals and vacationers.  They also host a bunch of wedding ceremonies every year.  Little Stone Church will donate a large amount of the money earned to a scholarship fund for local kids.

Jonathan is a music professor at a college in downstate Michigan.  His entire family is very talented.  Jonathan, his brother, and his father all performed at the intimate Little Stone Church wedding.   It was pretty incredible!  The officiant Dr. Reverand Vincent Carroll said that this ceremony was probably his most entertaining one in the 40 years of marrying couples.   Every wedding is different and you can never predict what you will see when you arrive.  This was definitely a treat.

The wedding ceremony at Little Stone Church lasted around a half hour or so.  We captured some images in the church and then a few outside of the church before heading to the Grand Hotel lawn in the shade.  Since this was an afternoon wedding we found a nice shady spot to have every posed together on the Grand Hotel lawn.

We finished up the shoot by heading up to the Grand Hotel porch and capturing a few images along the beautiful porch and stairs.  It was a very nice short time with this wonderful couple.  I wish them all the best and hopefully they will enjoy and cherish all of their wedding images.
