Mackinac Island Event Photography Northern Michigan

Jennifer and Dustin were so excited to come to Mackinac Island and have their picture perfect outdoor destination Wedding on the rocky shoreline at Windermere Point during the Mackinac Island Lilac Festival.  Unfortunately, you can not always predict the weather.  This intimate lunch Wedding was a couple hours too early for the rains to pass.  We chatted on the phone an hour prior to the Wedding ceremony and made the call to go to plan B and do the Wedding ceremony at Mission Point Resort Sound Stage indoor location with a view of Lake Huron. Since all the family was staying at Mission Point this was a welcome decision.

The Wedding colors for the day were aqua, grey, and white.  Mackinac Island, Michigan is known for it’s laid back, casual atmosphere.  The event was a casual affair but all of the family dressed formal.
