The fabulous Stephanie and Sean, all the way from Chicago, got Married on Mackinac Island, Michigan on May 28, 2011. It was a pleasure working with both of them, their family, and friends.
The morning did not look too promising for nice weather but mother nature shined down on us again on Mackinac Island and made for some beautiful weather and light.

My day began at the Island House Hotel after the ladies had their hair and makeup professionally done by 7th Heaven Salon on Mackinac Island. They all loved it and raved about the Salon experience. You can find 7th Heaven Salons at:

The Wedding colors were navy and apple green so you will see the theme throughout the day. Even the room matched their colors, and of course, I did too.:-)
The Island House Hotel is a wonderful location on Mackinac Island just steps away from downtown and close to the marina on Main Street. It is perfect for guests and family who haven’t been to Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan and want to explore the downtown shops, bars, and such.

Horse drawn carriages transported guests from the Island House Hotel to the Wedding Ceremony location of St. Anne Church. Even though it is only a couple blocks to St. Anne Church, they played it safe in case of inclement weather with carriage rentals.
The Wedding Ceremony at St. Anne’s Church was beautiful. If you have a chance just walk into the church and view the beautiful windows, walls, and ceiling. The alter is magnificent too!

The 1.5 hour Wedding Carriage with the Wedding party for one hour and then only with the bride and groom for a 1/2 hour was with Gough Carriages. It is awesome riding around the island and catching all the views from the bluffs on your Wedding day. Make sure to rent a horse drawn Wedding carriage on your Wedding day.

The tastey and beautiful Wedding cake was designed by Bella E Dolce. You have to have their Wedding cake at your Wedding on Mackinac Island or Northern Michigan. They are awesome!

The Wedding favors were yummy Mackinac Island Fudge in a box with their names and Wedding date. I suspect that most of the fudge was eaten prior to leaving the Wedding Reception.:-)
