Northern Michigan Wedding Venue Castle Farms
The Knight’s Castle and Courtyard are my favorite Wedding locations at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan. It is so nice to have your guests arrive to the party and only have to walk not even a block from their car and then just inside for the reception. No driving between ceremony and reception.
Sarah and Galen loved the central location of Castle Farms between their family in downstate Michigan and the family in Upper Michigan. They embraced the Renaissance midievel theme since Galen had interest in Dungeons and Dragons.
Some of the details from the day included the King and Queen chairs, beer steins with family shields and crests, goblets, the gaelic words on Galen’s band which he was named after, the matching grey colors of the wedding day with the Castle Farms rock, and lots more.
Monarch Garden and Floral design in Petoskey put together a colorful pop of color for the day. The purple, pinks, and whites complimented all of the details and mid tones from the day.
Tululu Beauty Lounge did a fantastic job designing all of the hair and makeup.
Sarah’s cool purple Tom’s flats shoes were a nice touch, and I love the idea and philosophy of Tom’s.
Sarah and Galen, family, and friends were a really fun group of people. When Sarah spoke too soon after walking down the aisle, she laughed and turned to give the thumbs up. Galen’s faces were hilarious. His twin brother provided lots of comic relief too. After Sarah and Galen were married they danced through the aisle. The groomsmen photo battling the dragon was fun. The hat dance was classic.
