Melanie and Marc come from the Chicago area to Melanie’s Summer home in Northern Michigan.

St. Anns Church Frankfort Michigan

Melanie’s parents are members of St. Anns church where the Wedding ceremony was held.

The Wedding was all about family. Melanie and Marc incorporated nieces and nephews, brother and sisters, and of course the parents in the Wedding day layout.

The Wedding day was a gorgeous early Fall day with mild temperatures. The leaves were starting to change. A few had fallen.

We started photography at St. Anns Church in Frankfort, Michigan. Both of the bride and groom were there early. They wanted a short first look prior to the Wedding. Mostly just to relax prior to a stressful event.

Between the ceremony and reception we headed out to Elberta overlook and beach. It was windy and the waves were crashing over the break wall. The gulls were flying all over the place too.

After Elberta beach, we traveled back to Frankfort to meet at Frankfort beach behind Harbor Lights Resort. The family met up with us to capture some fun water images with the dunes, lighthouses, and Lake Michigan.

Oliver Art Center Frankfort Michigan

The Oliver Art Center is a modern and unique Wedding reception venue in Frankfort, Michigan. I love the overhead walkway which extends from the kitchen over the dance floor to the seating area.

Harbor View Entertainment with my buddy George McDonald introduced Melanie and Marc as they entered in on the walkway. Pretty cool entrance!

Uptown Catering did a wonderful job with the catering, bar, and cake.

Beauty Bar in Frankfort, Michigan was in charge of making Melanie the stunning Bride she is. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect Bride.

Melanie and Marc had my photobooth set up on the dance floor too. Lots of fun images came from the photobooth. The kids, college friends, and guests loved it!

The Oliver Art Center is set up to where the dance floor is located lower than the seating area and adjacent to an outdoor deck area with the walkway overhead. It is a unique building and makes for lots of viewing areas for the guests. While dancers do there thing on the dance floor, gawkers can drink and chat from above, outside, on the dance floor, and in the seats.

Everything went amazingly smooth for Melanie and Marc.
