Katie Lewis is originally from my hometown of Alpena, Michigan.

She had my father for a teacher in high school.

I didn’t know Katie until I met her at my son’s doctors appointment.

She is friends with a bunch of my friends from Alpena.

Katie contacted me after speaking with a mutual friend about getting musician photography.

She has been touring all over Northern Michigan bringing her wonderful voice to clients of all sorts of establishments.

We met on a winter Saturday around noon for a one hour shoot in Petoskey, Michigan.  Katie’s roommate Claire joined the shoot and helped Katie relax and hold some of my gear in the variable winds.  Thank you Claire!
