West Michigan Wedding Photography Album Design, Lake Michigan Wedding

You can now view the wedding album online of Jessica and Brett.  Click on West Michigan Wedding Photographer to see the wonderful wedding album.

This album is the Traditional Album design as opposed to the flush mount album design.  If you do not know the difference between a traditional album and a flush mount here are two examples.

Traditional Album Example

Flush Mount, Digital, Coffee Book, Album

The flush mount is where the entire page is the print and there is a lacquer coating over the page.  This album is really hot right now.  I would say that it is cool because of the design factor but it is more of a pain if you ever want to change anything in the album.  You can change the flush mount albums but it is expensive and time consuming.  It has to be sent back to the original company and they remove the print with a hot press.  Traditional albums, on the other hand, typically have slide in pages or pages that are more easily accessible regarding changing of prints, but this is not always the case, depending on the album company.  Traditional, a lot of times, adds a bit more emphasis to the prints since, typically, there is more “dead space,” or areas without images or text.

Both are great albums but you just need to decide which is best for you!

Back to putting together a flush mount album with cool metallic pages!

See ya.
