There have been some questions about my online prints and what they are and why they are more expensive than a consumer print.  First of all,  when a customer orders a print from my online source the order is sent directly to me.  I do all of my own corrections and optimizations in house so you know that I, the person who shot the image, is doing the work and actually know the people in the image.  I print everything on 80+ lifespan paper with archival inks.  I use all Professional Glossy Papers, the top of the line.  I only use the best products and gear for all of my images.

After printing the images, they are inspected to pass my critique and than I spray them all with lacquer coating to protect against fading and scratching.  The images are hand packed and sent out usually within two weeks.

I DO NOT have an online service that prints the images and sends them directly to you.  I think this is bad business and that photographers should know what their customers are getting.  I have has many services approach me to try and get me to sign up and I don’t believe in their philosophy.  I typically have 1000 images of each wedding online and they will all be perfect, in my mind, before they go out.  If you see people using Pictage, Collages, and the like be careful because these photographers do not see the images before you do!  In addition, I have heard of Photographers who take their images to Walmart or such and then charge you a mint for doing this.  You don’t get an optimized image and you get a junk print!

Know that if you order an image from me it is how I saw it during the day and on the absolute best paper that I can find that will render the image as pleasing as the day that you saw it.

Thank you for your time and your orders.  See my online proof site at http://www.paulretherford.instaproofs.com
