Tahquamenon Falls and Brewery family trip
Since we had nothing happening Saturday we decided to load the kids up in the van and head out to Tahquamenon Falls and Brewery. Family winter trip Tahquamenon Falls and Brewery.
It was bitterly cold but it didn’t look it with blue skies most of the way north.
The winds were heavy and there was a light coating of snow so the white-outs happened when any cars drove the opposite direction.
All three kids were so excited to see a huge partially frozen falls in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
We almost made a HUGE mistake by forgetting our oldest daughters jacket.
As it turned out, we just forgot our youngest daughters hat and gloves.
She was happy wearing my wives mittens.
She looked like a lobster.
The brewery was full with snowmobilers for the most part. There were only maybe 10 total cars in the parking lot.
On the way home we swung through Rudyard, Michigan and by our old house which is for sale again.
We lived in a nice orange brick house on 1st street for about four years.
Here are a selection of images from our trip.
