Wedding at The Inn at Bay Harbor Northern Michigan
Amy and Terry are Married! I had the honor of capturing this couple twice. Once at their Northern Michigan Petoskey Engagement Photography session and then of course their Wedding at The Inn at Bay Harbor in Northern Michigan near Petoskey, Michigan.
Bay Harbor, Michigan lies a couple miles south of Petoskey, Michigan between Charlevoix, Michigan.
Amy and Terry came from Southern Michigan for their fall Wedding in beautiful Northern Michigan. You could not have asked for a more perfect day for them! It was 80 degrees and sunny.
Amy is a hairdresser in Southern Michigan, and with her bridesmaids, they all got ready in a Cottage at the Inn at Bay Harbor. They had a group of their friends doing their hair and makeup for the Wedding day.
Terry was preparing in a room at the Inn at Bay Harbor with his groomsmen. They did not want to see each other prior to walking down the Wedding isle.
Terry bought a beautiful necklace for Amy as a Wedding gift and it was cute watching all the ladies admiring Amy opening and them putting on the necklace.
Everything ran really smooth at the Inn at Bay Harbor with the assistance of coordinator Megan.
The Wedding ceremony on Lake Michigan shoreline lasted about 30 minutes and ended with a first kiss, introduction, and confetti poppers that washed the air with brilliant squares of color. There were images that I couldn’t even see the Bride and Groom walking down the Wedding isle.
Following the ceremony we captured group images right on gorgeous Lake Michigan. There is really no need to every leave the Inn at Bay Harbor and Amy and Terry did not want to leave their friends.
Amy and Terry were able to join their friends for the last part of cocktail hour.
Upon being introduced to the Wedding reception at the Sagamore’s Room Amy and Terry did a little fishing rod and hooked dance into the Wedding venue and then headed right to their cake for a quick cake cutting ceremony.
Dinner was incredible, as always, at The Inn at Bay Harbor.
The tables were dressed with orange and black colors including bells on sticks for ringing as the Bride and Groom entered the Wedding reception. It was a festive fall Wedding.
DJ Chewy introduced the Bride and Groom to the dance floor under the outdoor tent at The Inn at Bay Harbor for their first dance. DJ Chewy kept the dance floor rocking all night long with his song mixing techniques, light show, and ability to work in requests.
The Wedding evening came to a close with a bonfire and sparklers down by Lake Michigan. It was a nice ending to a wonderful day for the Wedding of Amy and Terry. Congratulations again to the happy couple!
