Perry Hotel in Petoskey, Michigan Titanic Dinner
Last night was the annual Titanic Dinner at the Stafford’s Perry Hotel in Petoskey, Michigan. The annual dinner just keeps getting better each year. The amount of attendees that dressed in period clothing was at an all time high. The food is always first class too!
The night began with Butlered Hors d’ Oeuvres and cocktails, followed by a five course dinner paired with yummy bottles of wines from small wineries.
Titanic Historian, David Kaplan, did a visual and narrative presentation of the ship, its events, and the affect it has had on history.
A couple won complimentary tickets for the 2014 Titanic dinner with their winning period clothing. It was their first time attending and they were from the Midland area.
There were couples from Alpena, Tawas City, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Upper Michigan, Midland, and Traverse City were just a few that I heard.
Stafford’s purchased a beautiful backdrop for this years images of all of the guests. It was a nice keepsake for the couples attending.
At the end of the evening, a group of the guests pulled out look alike life vests from the Titanic and donned them. It was very clever!
Enjoy a selection of images from the event.
