After being rained out on a first evening family shoot, we are able to make a morning session work out for everyone.  Their family is leaving Bay View, Michigan right after the family session to head back to Georgia.  What a beautiful morning in Petoskey, Michigan for the Bay View Michigan family Photography Paul Retherford Photography session.

This family session is combined with a senior photography session all at Bay View, Michigan.

The family of five and their beautiful dog, pirate, make easy subjects to photograph.

The blue eyes and no sunglasses are the only obstacle.

We walk around the beach at Bay View Association waterfront before it comes to bustling life.

I think most of the people are sleeping in after the Blues Traveler concert the night before.

In addition, vacation isn’t a time to get up early. 🙂
