Oak Pointe Country Club Wedding
Golf courses are wonderful Wedding venues. An Oak Pointe Country Club Wedding is high on the Wedding scale.
Lauren and Nate are a simply stunning couple! I met them when I photographed Lauren sister’s, Erin, Wedding in Northern Michigan.
The Oak Pointe Country Club is located just a few minutes from the home of Lauren and Nate in Brighton, Michigan. This relaxed outdoor Wedding ceremony location and gorgeous indoor venue works great for a Fall Wedding in Michigan.
It was a perfect Fall Michigan day in Brighton for Lauren and Nate. Almost too nice, at least for photography. 🙂
The Oak Pointe Country Club is a private, members club that hosts Wedding for nonmembers as well.
Sally was the point of contact for the Oak Pointe Country Club Wedding since Kendel, the main coordinator, is out on maternity leave. Sally did a great job helping make the day run smoothly.
We began photography when the girls arrived from the salon at Oak Pointe Country Club. The guys all showed up to the club dressed.
Lauren and Nate decided to do a first look so that they could get all of their images completed prior to the Wedding ceremony. This allowed them to join their guests at cocktail hour.
They relaxed and had a wonderful time with their close family and friends.
Lauren wore this glamorous Allure Couture Wedding gown that fit her perfectly. She found a perfect pair of Badgley Mischkas that made the ladies swoon. She changed into a cute pair of Tom’s shoes that were white lace flats for dancing.
The Wedding theme for the day was vintage autumn. Their colors were teal and orange with gold and cranberry accents.
The orange color really popped and made the images feel like a Fall Wedding. The tables had pumpkins and orange flowers as arrangements.
The Fall color was just starting but we managed to get some colorful backgrounds using the long lens and professional compression.:-)
The brother in law of the Bride, Steve, whose Wedding I photographed was the officiant. Everyone was commenting about how Steve missed his calling as an officiant. Better late than never Steve!
