Believe it or not, every Summer day is not sunny in Northern Michigan. Those off days that are overcast make for gorgeous images with milky white skin and a softbox in the sky. That was the case on this Lake Michigan family photography Traverse City Michigan.

This family was a referral from a Bay Harbor, Michigan family session that I photographed two year ago.

They vacation annually near Traverse City in a friends house for a week.

We worked around the young children’s nap times to make sure they were primed for photography.

They are an Ohio family, and this is their Summer bonding in Northern Michigan.
