Mackinac Island is located in Northern Michigan. It is a short ferry ride from either Mackinaw City or St. Ignace. Mackinac Island is a non motorized island so you should expect to walk, ride bike, or hire a carriage for transportation.

There are unlimited locations on Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan where you can have an elopement Wedding ceremony. You can pick along the water, overlooking the water on the bluff, gazebos, forested areas, sweeping lawns, flower gardens, overlooking the Mackinac Bridge, harbors, on a boat, and lots more.

This couple traveled from out of state to have their Wedding elopement ceremony at Windermere Point on Mackinac Island. It worked out perfectly for them since they were staying downtown and having dinner downtown too.

The 15 minute ceremony was catered to their liking by Tom Marx. It was very intimate and perfect for these two.
