Intimate Portico Wedding The Inn at Stonecliffe

Northern Michigan in the fall is cool, colorful, light on traffic, and a wonderful location for your wedding ceremony and reception. Mackinac Island slows to a crawl after Labor day weekend until the closing of most of the businesses and hotel in mid October.

Sherri and Allen took advantage of the slower season at The Inn at Stonecliffe with a Sunday evening Wedding ceremony on the Portico and a Wedding reception in the tent with their 20 guests.

Although the Wedding was supposed to take place on the garden terrace, the rains came and we stepped up to the Portico for a covered ceremony. The rains quickly subsided and we were able to capture images around the beautiful property at The Inn at Stonecliffe.

The wedding officiant was their pastor from home, setup and catering by The Inn at Stonecliffe, flowers by Margaret’s Garden at the Grand Hotel.
