Wedding Photography Perry Hotel Petoskey

You don’t always get perfect weather for your Wedding day. Fall Weddings in Northern Michigan can come with lots of obstacles. Even though Fall is my favorite season for many reasons, it is tough to land on the perfect day for a Wedding.

Abigail and Patrick picked the perfect Wedding location, Stafford’s Perry Hotel, in Northern Michigan to offset the fact that the outdoor Wedding on the lawn in the Rose Garden was windy, cool, and rainy at times. It almost felt like it was ready to snow.:-)

Luckily, the Perry Hotel is a great choice because of their covered, and heated outdoor Wedding ceremony location in the Rose garden. The curtains block the wind and the heaters keep everyone comfortable. All of this while still getting a nice view of The Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan.

The bright fall colors and the Wedding colors of navy blue and orange combined to bring all the details together.

Abigail looked stunning and Patrick was as handsome as ever. Their beaming smiles warmed up the day.

We began the photography when Abigail and Patrick met for the first time of the day in the Perry Hotel lobby. We photographed as many images as we could prior to the ceremony since the rain and cold weather was moving in quickly.

The reception in the H.O. Rose Room was perfect. The toasts were extremely heart felt. Dinner and desserts were all wonderfully prepared by Stafford’s Perry Hotel Chefs. Everyone danced the night away with DJ’s North ~ Shawn Peterson.

Even though the weather did not always cooperate, the guests will always remember the wonderful time that they had sharing in Abigail and Patrick’s day!
