Wedding Castle Farms Northern Michigan DIY
Danielle and Trevor were Married at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Northern Michigan on Mother’s Day! Congratulations to the happy couple!
Their self proclaimed “Geeky, Do it Yourself” Wedding was an intimate family affair with close friends and lots of family from Michigan and Wisconsin.
How did this couple cut costs on their Wedding? Danielle built her own flower bouquets. Danielle’s Grandmother Married them. They hired a food truck, Pigs Eatin’ Ribs to cater. They decided on cupcakes over cake. There were minimal decorations that were all bought and set up by family. The alcohol was all purchased in gallon jugs by family. No Engagement images. Wedding party wore Converse All Stars. Simple was their theme for the Wedding.
I met Danielle and Trevor last year and they loved my work. They told me that they were doing a low budget Wedding, but they loved my style and wanted me as their Photographer. I don’t photograph many Weddings like this, but I am also not too proud to take on a simple Wedding. The family was so nice too. It was a beautiful day with beautiful people.
The theme for the day was geeky. The colors were navy, grey, and pink.
Vendors for the Castle Farms Wedding include:
