Destination Wedding Mackinac Island Michigan
Congratulations Zak and Sarah. Not the Ben Folds song but my beautiful bride and groom from this past Saturday on Mackinac Island, Northern Michigan.
Their intimate wedding on the Garden Terrace at the Island House Hotel was beyond beautiful! You really couldn’t imagine a better day.
This was the first time that I captured a Wedding on the Garden Terrace at the Island House Hotel. I have captured weddings in the gazebo and on the front porch too. The Garden Terrace is the perfect location for your Mackinac Island wedding because of the close proximity to downtown Mackinac and the awesome view of the Mackinac harbor. If you like boating then this location is perfect for your friends to pull their yachts right in across the street.
Mary’s Bistro is a fine location for your wedding reception on Mackinac Island, Michigan. Not only is the food to die for, but the location is perfect too. Right on the edge of downtown within walking distance for all of your guests. The water is just steps away to catch the fantastic sunsets, Mackinac bridge, and lighthouses.
This destination wedding group came from the Detroit area for the weekend. About half of the group stayed on Mackinac Island with the remainder staying in Mackinaw City.
Sarah wore Maggie Sottero wedding dress with a pearl necklace and bracelet. The wedding colors were champagne and blush.
