Mackinac Island Wedding Venue Island House Hotel
The lilacs blooming on Mackinac Island, Northern Michigan, that is all that needs to be said.
The overwhelming scent of the Mackinac lilacs during a Wedding makes this day double perfect.
Kira and David lucked out to have the lilacs in full bloom during their Northern Michigan Wedding day. With over a hundred varieties of lilacs, Mackinac Island is the place to be during the lilac bloom.
Kira and David chose Ste Annes Church for their Wedding Ceremony with David’s home Priest Father John Wheeler. It meant a lot to them to have their family Priest with them on their Wedding day.
The Wedding horse carriage ride immediately following the Mass with Gough Livery was picture perfect. You really couldn’t ask for a better all around Northern Michigan Mackinac day.
The Island House Hotel was the location for the cocktail hour on the porch, and Wedding Reception in the 1852 room. The Island House Hotel renovated the 1852 room this year and is looks AMAZING!
Kira’s Wedding dress was by Theia from a Ann Arbor, Michigan. Their Wedding colors were Navy, Amethyst, and Lilac. They danced their first song to “La vie en rose” by Louis Armstrong.
Lots of fun Wedding details throughout the day. Great people and great times!
