The Wedding of Shawna & Justin | Northern Michigan
Shawna and Justin are hitched! Shawna and Justin came to The Otsego Club in Gaylord, Michigan for their destination Wedding in Northern Michigan. They live in Tennessee and have family up in this area. They had looked at other locations in Northern Michigan but decided on the beautiful, and well laid out, The Otsego Club. The Otsego Club has everything you would want in a Wedding Ceremony and Reception all within a few hundred yards.
There is a large bridal room with ample room for all bridesmaids to prepare. Everything is exposed log on the inside and the lodge theme really works well with the Wedding colors. Shawna and Justin had teal and white for their Wedding colors.
The exposed log allows for beautiful Wedding dress images throughout the main lodge.
The Wedding Ceremony took place overlooking the golf and ski valley on the terrace at The Otsego Club in Gaylord, Michigan. This is a stunning Wedding Ceremony location in Northern Michigan. The soft breeze, warm sun, and beautiful forest and valley views made you feel like you were in the Rockies, but even better, it is Michigan.
The Photo Station/PhotoBooth was a hit once again. Paul Retherford Wedding Photography offers a open air Photo Station for all Weddings and Events. Everyone had a wonderful time capturing images and got a nice keepsake/Wedding favor to take with them.
Shawna and Justin love Jones Soda and they used that love to incorporate their Wedding favors to guests. They personalized each bottle with image labels and a nice thank you and kind words on the back of the bottle. The color of the soda really popped on the tables and made a perfect addition.
This group loved to dance. They danced to everything from Polka, to Rock, to Kid Rock, to a Rocky Horror Picture Show song, and lots more. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing in the air conditioned Event Center at The Otsego Club in Gaylord, Michigan.
One of the family members had a nice red, new Jeep Rubicon soft top. With a large group of people watching we had to do something fun with this image. This image is titled, “The end of the Wedding night.” This could have easily been a sunrise image but it was at sunset. You know it was a fun night if you wake up to an image like this.
