Northern Michigan family photography

Family photo session can be almost anytime during the day.  This family photography session was right in the middle of the day on a bright, blue-sky day.  It is hot, sunny and not the best conditions for photography.  I use off-camera lighting techniques to help offset the harsh shadows in the eyes.  Without the extra lighting you would not be able to either see their eyes, or the beautiful background would be blown out.  Petoskey East Park family photo session photography
