Beautiful Detroit Wedding

Melissa and Erich are relaxing in Jamaica after a fabulous Wedding in Monroe, Michigan and a Wedding reception in Flat Rock, Michigan. Melissa and Erich are a beautiful couple and they have a tight group of family and friends that all celebrated to nights end.

The Wedding day was perfect in Monroe with their ceremony at Zion Lutheran Church at 4pm. This was a friday Wedding so events happen really quickly. It was sunny and hot in Detroit.

Flat Rock Smith Hotel ~ Flat Rock Historical Society

A special thank you goes out to Ron for opening up his Flat Rock Smith Hotel for a quick photo session at his beautiful historical building. What a treat to have a fantastic location to capture images. I only wish that we had more time to take advantage of all the opportunities. I will be back Ron, hopefully doing a fashion shoot there someday.

Stone Creek Banquet Hall at Flat Rock Community Center

The Wedding reception location was Stone Creek Banquet Hall and this is a fabulous location as well. The reception was around 250 people and there was plenty of room for everyone with a large dance floor too! You can fit easily 100 people on this dance floor with room to move around. The building looks new and the I got a very fresh vibe from this location. The building is picture perfect and the locations outside cater to fantastic imagery. We made use of as many locations as possible through the evening without taking the bride and groom away from their family and friends for more than a few minutes.
