Northern Michigan Photographer Family Senior Photo

The bulk of my career is Wedding Photography. I would say that 90-95% of my photography is Weddings. That is why I say the I “specialize” in Weddings. Weddings are what I do and what I love. However, I do get requests for other photography from time to time like this beautiful Senior Photography Session and Family Session. The concepts are the same but how you handle the subjects are a bit different.

This family will have over 1000 images to enjoy for the rest of their lives! How cool is that! How often do you wish that you had professional family and portraits of your children. How about when you go on vacation, do you ever think about getting a photo session when your family is together and having fun? I shoot a number of families on Mackinac Island and you would not believe the transformation when the family walks onto the island and they are officially on vacation. The images are fantastic and natural!

Engagement and Family Photography Session at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan

The Cochran family was a pleasure to work with at The Grand Hotel on beautiful Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan! We spent a short time making a bunch of awesome images on the ground at The Grand Hotel and on the Porch. The Grand Hotel is a magnificent architectural feat and is one of the landmarks on Mackinac Island.

Mission Point Resort Wedding ~ Vow Renewals ~ Mackinac Island ~ 20-year Anniversary!

Mission Point Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony at Gazebo on Mackinac Island, MI

Tracy and Charlie are Married! The clouds again parted for my Wedding Photography as Tracy and Charlie renewed their Wedding vows in front of their beautiful family at the Gabezo at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island, Michigan.

Charlie just returned from his second tour of duty in Iraq and Tracy and Charlie wanted to show their three children how in love their parents are after 20 years of Marriage! It was almost the exact time they were Married 20 years earlier! How cool is that!

We made images around the Gazebo at Mission Point Resort and then Tracy and Charlie were picked up by the White Wedding horse-drawn carriage and we made our way around Mackinac Island to capture some more fabulous images. Tracy and Charlie made a pit stop at the Pink Pony, their old hang out, to have a quick one and get a few images too.

Beautiful evening with a fabulous couple from Fort Wayne, Indiana. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to capture your 40th Wedding Anniversary!:-) I wish the entire family the best in the future and “Thank You” Charlie for your service and allowing me the freedom to do what I love most!
