Wedding outdoor at Hotel Iroquois Mackinac Island

Shana and Bret traveled all the way from Kansas to get married on Mackinac Island, Michigan at an outdoor Wedding Ceremony at Hotel Iroquois or Iroquois on the Beach. It was fabulous and I had a grand time working with them for their small Destination Wedding.

Elberta, Michigan Historic Life Saving Station Wedding ~ West MI

West Michigan Wedding ~ Elberta Life Saving Station

Sarah and Steve are Married! We had such a nice time making images throughout the day in Frankfort, Elberta, and along Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake. The Wedding Ceremony and Reception both took place at the Elberta Historic Life Saving Station in Elberta, Michigan on the Betsy River.

The Blue Dirt Band played at the Wedding Reception. They are based in Traverse City, Michigan and they play a nice mix of music. They are a very fun band too. Four guys who enjoy what they do!

Brides and bridesmaid hair completed by Shear Class Experience Salon and Spa by Christina Banktson and Jessie Carver.

Mackinac Island Photo Session ~ Michigan ~ Anniversary Images ~ Trash the Dress

Congratulations Arianna and Matt on one year of Marriage and Bliss! You two are a beautiful couple and it was fun spending some time with you on Mackinac Island, Michigan making fabulous Anniversary images for you. I know how magical Mackinac Island is for your and I hope that these images really place you in that magical place every time you view them. Thank you for being so easy to work with and just plain fun!

Arianna and Matt hired a Wedding Carriage from Arrowhead Carriages on Mackinac Island. The horse drawn Wedding Carriage was led by two ex racing horses. Let me tell you, they were fast! I had a tough time keeping up with them on my bike.:-) John, the driver, was really easy to work with and I thank him for making everything we wanted fit into the time frame. He is very professional and knowledgable about the island. I definitely recommend this carriage company. You can call them at 906.847.6112.

We spent one hour traveling around Mackinac Island, Michigan capturing images along the way. When Arrowhead Carriage Company dropped the couple off at Mission Point Resort, where they were staying, we made a bunch more images for about 1/2 hour. It was a beautiful couple and a fabulous day!
