Today I was up on a roof again working with a friend roofing a house. It was nice and warm, probably 80 on the roof. These are much different muscles than I use doing photography. I am sore now and will probably be really sore tomorrow. It is good to know these building skills.
Tomorrow was supposed to be career day in Rudyard and I was going to attend. They cancelled, I guess they didn’t have enough interest. Too bad.
This weekend I had the privilege of telling the story of Christy and Scott’s Wedding day. The bride wore a gorgeous Allure Wedding Gown and the bridesmaids were dressed in Bill Levkoff Wedding bridal dresses.
The Wedding Ceremony was located at
Second Byron CRC 7588 Byron Center Avenue SW Byron Center, Michigan 49315This church is the bride’s home church and is a very nice Wedding location in Byron Center, Michigan, just south of Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Wedding went perfectly. I had my doubts when just 5 minutes until the bride was to walk down the isle the junior bride lost a front tooth! Yup, and it was a bit touch and go for a moment but she smiled her whole way down the isle.:-)
The Grandma of the bride made an unexpected showing for the Wedding. She is 95 years young. She was having a wonderful time laughing at the Wedding. It was nice to be in the presence of such wisdom.
We had a wonderful day working together. The sun was out but it was a bit brisk and windy but that didn’t slow us down.
We stopped at a beautiful park right near the Doubletree Hotel where the Wedding reception was being held. When we first arrived a runner was passing by and mentioned something about the beer that a groomsman was holding. As it ended up the runner stopped and took a beer from the bride, and headed off with beer in hand. First time for that happening.

Once again I want to thank you for your work this weekend. Really appreciate you staying longer on Sat. and capturing so many great moments. You did such a great job not only with your pictures and capturing great moments but your professionl manner in which all of it was done. Another great quality is your people skills, really enjoyed how you worked with people to be able to get the shots you want and also capturing those un-posed moments.
