Northern Michigan barn weddings are becoming a very trendy item these days. People want a old worn rustic barn to have their party. The older it looks the more they usually like it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at Keely and Dakota’s wedding on the family property. It was kind of out in the middle of nowhere in Northern Michigan. When I drove up to the property there were RVs and tents set up all over the adjacent lot. This wasn’t just a wedding, this was an all out party!

The skies went from sunny to grew all day long but did not rain until later in the evening. It was perfect light. Keely was absolutely beautiful and she handled all the extra stress from all the guests milling around really well.

They had a lot of small details and props set up to bring this vintage country wedding to life. Their colors were red, ivory, and champagne.
