Moen Kitchen Faucet Lindley review quick connect issue leak
Moen will not display my review of this Lindley Kitchen faucet CA87012SRS so I am going to post on my blog. Sorry for having to do this but I am going to save some people a ton of misery.
We had purchased this Moen Lindley kitchen faucet from Home Depot for $218.00 in June 2012 and had it installed by a Master Plumber. We had our kitchen counter replaced and this faucet had to be removed and replaced. When another Master Plumber reinstalled it, he noticed it had been dripping slowly for a long time. It was ruining the kitchen cabinet under it.
The Moen Lindley faucet leak is from the quick connect area where this is a manufactured metal crimped sleeve above the quick connect.
We thought the Moen Lindley quick connect leak was just a coincidence so I purchased another from Home Depot on January 22, 2013 for $218.00. This was installed again via a Master Plumber and had the same exact leak and issue!
I called Moen and they shipped one out next day air for free. It seems to me they are having this issue with a lot of them! I have not installed the third Moen Lindley kitchen faucet CA87012SRS yet but I will update to let you know if that one leaks too.
We have payed more for the three installs now than the price of the Moen Lindley kitchen faucet. Thank you very little Moen!
This is a nice looking Moen faucet but do not buy the Moen Lindley kitchen faucet CA87012SRS. You will thank me for this review.
