Wedding Color ~ create variety on your Wedding Day

Bright Wedding Colors on your day

Bright colors are a wonderful way to add a little spice to your Wedding day.  Consider using bright accent colors or maybe some umbrellas like these paper umbrellas above.  Bright color, when used correctly, can help put everyone present in a better mood.

Not all Wedding days have the same weather.  Plan on having some ideas with color in case of a rainy day or stormy weather.  Even wind can put a big brake on the options available for your Wedding Photography.  If rain is in the forecast check out some raincoat, umbrella, or covered locations that would help accent the rainy day.  Rain is not a bad thing if you plan ahead.  In fact, there are fabulous images that you can get including lots of reflection Wedding images.

Your Wedding Colors and Theme

Wedding colors are great but research your combinations and visualize how they will look throughout your day and your images.  Remember the colors of nature during your Wedding and try to compliment those colors instead of clashing.  Yes, you can clash with nature’s colors.  Also consider the colors of your transportation.  All your Wedding day colors should blend together.

If you love your Wedding colors then consider putting them on your invitation and letting all of your vendors know your colors.  I love to dress in the colors of the Wedding day so that I will blend in with the surroundings.  A lot of Wedding Photographers will dress in black and this will clash and stand out with certain colors.  All your vendors and guests should know what you like so that they have the opportunity to dress according to the colors that you love.

Plan your colors on your Wedding and there won’t be surprises.

Cheers!
