In this World of go, go, go sometimes you have to relax and enjoy the simple things in life. These sunflowers and tulips will help you sit back, take a deep breath, and enjoy the rest of your day. How can you not smile.
What started out as a hopeful career in nature photography and conservation photography has bloomed into a whole new realm of photography for me – weddings. You can see the fusion of nature and wedding/fashion photography in my work. I still enjoy jumping into my car and going to find beautiful locations to capture. When I am stressed I find relief in nature.
A lot of the same elements of nature photography are found in wedding photography. I learned so much from the great nature photographers of today like John Shaw, George Lepp, Arthur Morris, Rod Planck, Moose Peterson, Darrel Gulin, and many more. All of these guys I have met in person and seen in seminars. They have rounded my vision and helped me form a persona of my own. To my brides and grooms, you can thank these people for my images and vision too.
I am feeling great now that the flu bout is over. My wife is home again today sick with what seems like the flu, even though she got a flu shot? I don’t know about flu shots. The only time I got a flu shot I came down with bronchial pneumonia and a temperature of 104 degrees. I knew my brain cells went somewhere.:-)
So, here are my pictures for the day – Enjoy!

Hope this brightens up your day!
