Wedding at the Kalamazoo Nature Center

We successfully dodged the storms on Saturday to have a beautiful, but hot, wedding at the Kalamazoo Nature Center.  If you have never been to the center please make it a point to visit with your kids.  It is fantastic and has tons of exhibits with live reptiles, birds and amphibians.  It also has numerous nature trails and education areas.  The flower garden, where the wedding took place, is incredible too.  It is a peaceful and tranquil spot in the World!

The wedding was beautiful and it was nice being framed by such a fantastic spot.  The garden is sunken down a bit and has circle gardens, brick pavers, trellases, arches, and lots more.  I would say around 75 people attended the wedding and most stood during the ceremony.  I really enjoyed capturing this event.  I love to photography outdoor weddings since my start in photography was in nature photography.

Today I am attending the David Jay seminar in Lansing Michigan at Hawks Hollow.  Should be a fantastic time.  The Professional Photographers of Michigan are hosting the seminar.  I will head back to the UP tomorrow.

Wednesday I am meeting friends on Mackinac Island to bike around the island and have dinner.  Can’t wait!

I will be posting images from the wedding soon and also a review of the wedding and vendors too.

Check back in a few.

Take care.
