Fall wedding Mackinac Island Little Stone Church Woods
Destination Weddings on Mackinac Island can be simple or as extravagant as your imagination. Connie and Josiah chose to have a simple Wedding in Northern Michigan with their families. It was an intimate Wedding all planned by Connie and Josiah.
When I first met with Connie and Josiah they were considering Wedding reception locations on Mackinac Island. There was a large number of locations that would accommodate their wedding party size. They were more interested in a woodsy location instead of the downtown area.
They booked the Little Stone Church early to make sure that they had their wedding ceremony venue. After visiting the island they decided that the Woods restaurant for their wedding reception. They would eat in the main dining room next to one of the fireplaces with three tables of family.
Accommodations were at The Inn at Stonecliffe right next to the Woods restaurant and a few people stayed downtown.
I met Connie and Josiah at The Inn at Stonecliffe where we began with some initial images. Then we all headed to Little Stone Church for the Wedding Ceremony. Connie and Josiah rode separately since they did not want to see each other prior to the Wedding.
Following the ceremony everyone walked up to the Jockey Club where they had drinks prior to heading up to the Woods restaurant. At that time I took Connie and Josiah into the Grand Hotel and captured some images with them in the Cupola Bar and throughout the Grand Hotel.
We all headed up to the Woods. When we arrive Connie, Josiah, and I headed out for some images around The Inn at Stonecliffe. It was a beautiful afternoon/evening shoot.
Here are a small sample of images from the Wedding on Mackinac Island at Little Stone Church and the Woods restaurant.
