Harbor Springs Wedding Photography

It is hard to pick a highlight from this Birchwood Farms Country Club Wedding.  The hair, dress, flowers, ceremony, reception, desserts, and basically everything was so perfect.  Birchwood Farms Country Club Harbor Springs Wedding Photography by Photographer Paul Retherford.

The day begins early with Vogue Salon and Spa from Petoskey, Michigan working their magic on the hair and makeup.

When my time begins, the ladies have their makeup done and are ready to put on their beautiful dresses.

The preparation house for the ladies is on Pickerel Lake.  Love the rustic feel of it and that cool fireplace.

Flowers are designed by Tigerlilly’s in Alanson, Michigan.  I have worked with them a number of times in the past and they do a wonderful, creative job.

Transportation provided by Mackinaw Shuttle from Pellston.

Day of Wedding coordinating is by Kris and her team at MerryMakers.  MerryMakers is always a wonderful planner to work with on your day.

Wedding Ceremony Emmanuel Episcopal Church Petoskey

Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Petoskey is very nice.  It has a lot of room to accommodate everyone.  The ladies prepare upstairs while the men have a lounge area on the main floor.

There is a small chapel area and a large main sanctuary room.

The Wedding ceremony lasts about one hour with a few family images following before heading to Harbor Springs.

On the way to Harbor Springs, we make a stop at Petoskey State Park for a few beach images with Lake Michigan in the background.

Birchwood farms has a beautiful grounds!

From the lush golf course to the view of Lake Michigan on the tea, you can’t go wrong.

The ceremony area includes a side cocktail area and a main dinner area with a dance floor.

Both areas walk right out to a deck overlooking the golf course.

Birds and animals abound in the area.

Music is provided by A+ Event Entertainment

The yummy dessert table which includes cookies, cupcakes, macaroons, and cake is designed and baked by Simply Sweet by Jessica of Petoskey, Michigan.  

Beautiful toasts, yummy food, and lots of fun and dancing continue throughout the evening.
