A real life Wedding at Castle Farms in Spring
Ashley and Travis were Married on a delightful Spring day on April 30, 2016 in Northern Michigan at Castle Farms.
Their venue was the Kings Great Hall. They had their Wedding ceremony and Wedding reception both in the Kings Great Hall.
Ashley found out three days before here beautiful Wedding that she will be interning at BMW! What a way to start off a Wedding!
They decided to have a very simple Wedding.
Ashley bought all of her flowers from Costco. She worked hard to make everything look beautiful. She designed the bouquets herself. You would not know that the bouquets were not done by a professional florist.
The tables were very simple with a buffet style dinner by Pigs Eatin Ribs.
The day was Sunny to start and then clouds moved in later. The entire Wedding was indoors.
We did most of the images outside in the Queen’s Courtyard and around the Castle grounds.
Highlights from the Wedding day included:
- The cool horse carriage with Gulliver the horse from Buggy Down Carriage
- The cake to die for from Kingsley Cakes
- The gorgeous monogram that Tom Heath from A+ Entertainment put together for their dance floor.
Ashley and Travis both graduated from Michigan State University. There was a bit of green and white theme at the Wedding.
They are off to Jamaica for their week long honeymoon.
Late April is a wonderful time to have a Wedding in Northern Michigan. You get the off season rates for most vendors. The weather is mild. The honeymoon locations are starting their off season rates too.
